We have reached the final blog post for the iWrite paper! Happy reading and go well :)

A critical analysis of YouTube beauty videos and vloggers - Tea Fronteras This analysis was very interesting as I am an avid watcher of beauty and lifestyle videos. I too have become aware of the growing brand endorsements and partnerships with companies that Youtubers use. The conclusions that she made in her analysis really made me think about how much advertising has changed, becoming more widely accepted as part of the trend especially in the beauty community. I also realised said beauty vlogger's direct influence on my own buying habits not only from the content of their videos but because of the aesthetics of their video and their opinion as popular YouTube personalities . Overall Tea's analysis was very eye opening and I enjoyed her approach on a topic I thought I was familiar with. The try guys try labour pain simulation, Buzzfeed - Heather This was a very in depth analysis of the YouTube video "the try guys try labour pain simulation". I personally have watched this YouTube video before and watch many videos in the try guys' series. Heather's analysis was extremely informative and I learned a lot about the actual purpose of the settings, backgrounds ,video style and subliminal ideas presented in the video. It gave me a deeper appreciation of the quality of buzz feed videos. I also really enjoyed that she included commentary on pregnancy, women's rights and the political and ethical issues surrounding pregnancy. Overall heather's analysis was very intriguing, entertaining as well as informative.
